Since John Samuel started the business in 1990, as Samuel Excavating, this Columbia, MO-based firm has grown to become one of the major contributors to the shaping of mid-Missouri.
Today, under the guidance of company president Keith Samuel, Samuel Corporation has greatly expanded its capabilities and today excels in all phases of heavy construction – excavating, paving and infrastructure construction as well as disaster clean-up.
Samuel Corporation is a reliable source of experience, manpower and equipment for developers of both residential and commercial projects. Our portfolio includes construction of roads, installation of sewers and water lines, design, grading and paving. We are equipped to handle specific portions of projects or to supervise and carry out the entire job from preliminary site development through final construction – including management of compliance issues.
Samuel Corporation maintains a full time staff of 18 as well as a fleet of heavy construction equipment. For maximum flexibility and to help keep developers’ projects on schedule, we deploy four separate work crews, each of which specializes in a different phase of heavy construction: sewers, water, streets and earthmoving. Each crew is headed by a supervisor with in-field experience in his particular discipline and equipped with the appropriate machinery for the task: earthmovers, dozers, dump trucks, trenchers, graders, paving machines, etc. We have the personnel, the expertise and the equipment to handle your next project.
